I'm in a super crafty mood lately. Looking for inspiration everywhere, anywhere, you know?
What better place to find fabulous creative ideas, but from your loved ones. Mine is my husband, a.k.a, my Sweet Pea.
I'm working on a Sweet Pea collection for my Little Mama's Designs shop. Hopefully it will be up soon.
In the meantime here are some cuter than average Etsy finds. Sweet Peas!

Nesting...
My husband and I were at Ikea the other day, shopping for...why were we there again? Sometimes we just go there to rekindle our matrimonial romance over Swedish meatballs and Lingonberry sauce.
Anyways, I saw these adorable Matryoshka nesting dolls sitting in the decor department. I don't know where they would go in our tiny (read: 900 square feet) house, but aren't they cute?
Out of curiosity I Googled them and found this tidbit from good ole' Wikipedia. Apparently these cuties have affected design principles for the last century. Good job girls!
I don't know what it is, but I adore these dolls. They're cute factor is way high. At this point, I'm attempting to not add to my collection of nicknacks or baubles, but...

January: Thank You note season
From the age we could write my dear Momsters monitored the writing of precise thank you notes by my brother and I. They were always the first thing we did after any present was received, a detailed list of what we were given by whom was our guidance.
Well, now I'm an adult and I still consider myself a well-trained thank-you-note-writer, however I am not a punctual as I used to. You see, I always run out of stamps or notecards, or the envelopes go missing or the detailed list of presents received is accidentally recycled, or I can't find the address to that one gift-giver who keeps moving. You know how it is right?
So I am attempting to find a solution by buying super cute stationary that will inspire me to write beautifully thankful thank you notes. Fortunately there is an abundance of amazing stationary out there. So pretty, it's a shame to use it on thank you notes...

Cupcakes Are My Favorite!
Whenever I throw a party, get invited to a potluck, celebrate a birthday my mind instantly goes to cupcakes!!! What flavor of cupcake? What type of frosting? Store-bought? Bakery-made? From a box? From scratch? So many questions that lead to the final glorious cupcake that will be served.
Recently, I've turned to the box mix, without shame. Betty Crocker's my fave. Duncan Hines and Pillsbury not so much (too fake sugary, in my opinion).
However, I do adore purchasing beautiful, perfect, wonderful cupcakes from Portland's Saint Cupcake. I highly recommend them for daily treats or big events. They very professional, punctual and they've just got it together business-wise. Plus, the cupcakes are extra-grande with lots of frosting. Yum!
I have gathered a collection of wonderful items to celebrate the glory of the cupcake:
